Police Briefs, May 10, 2012
The following people were recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:
John Joseph Locke Jr., 35, of Uniontown, by state police, on April 7, on state route 1017 in Herrick Township. Locke has also been charged with careless driving and failure to wear a seatbelt. A blood alcohol test later revealed that Locke's blood alcohol content was .233 percent on the day of his arrest. Locke has been sent a summons to appear before Magisterial District Judge Fred Wheaton on May 29 for his preliminary hearing.
William Reese Lloyd, 67, of Canton, by Canton Borough police, on April 7, on South Minnequa Avenue, Canton.
Lloyd was also charged with a violation of "driving on right side of roadway" and careless driving, according to court papers filed with the office of Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy. Lloyd's blood-alcohol content was .197 percent, police, said.
He has been sent a summons to appear before Wilcox at 2 p.m. today.
