Towanda woman charged with assault

Lindsey Diane Bella, 28, of Towanda has been charged with simple assault and harassment, police said.

The charges stem from two incidents that occurred on May 6 and May 7 at the residence she shares with her boyfriend, Michael S. Bae Jr., police said.

Bae told police that Bella had gotten into an argument with him around 10 or 11 p.m. on May 6 and then attacked him, according to the Towanda police.

Bae told police that Bella had struck him in the head and pushed and scratched him during the May 6 incident, according to the Towanda police.

On the morning of May 7, Bella allegedly attacked Bae again by punching him several times on the top of his head, police said.

The following person was recently charged with driving while under the influence in Bradford County:

­- Scott J. Carter Jr., 26, of Towanda, by the Towanda police, on May 2 on Park Street in Towanda Borough. Carter, who lives on Laning Creek Road, exhibited signs of alcohol intoxication during this incident, according to reports.
