Tioga County Acting District Attorney, Irene C. Graven, reports the following activity in the District Attorney's Office for the week ending April 12, 2013.

The following defendants were sentenced in Tioga County Court on April 8:

Kenneth Casey of Endicott, N.Y. was sentenced to concurrent nine months in the Tioga County Jail for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree and felony Driving While Intoxicated with an additional three year conditional discharge on the Driving While Intoxicated charge, to include installation of ignition interlock device, license revocation and fines.

Ann M. Grey of Johnson City, N.Y. was sentenced to five years of probation with installation of ignition interlock device, participation in Victim Impact Panel, license revocation and fines for felony Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated.

Jackie Pizzuti of Binghamton, N.Y. was sentenced to one-and-a-half to three years in state prison as a second felony offender for Attempted Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.

Donald Swartz of Owego, N.Y. was sentenced to nine months in the Tioga County Jail for violation of his terms of probation and his probation was revoked.

The following defendants were sentenced in Tioga County Court on April 9:

Ronald Rumola of Nichols, N.Y. was sentenced to five years of probation for Aggravated Unlicensed Operation in the First Degree and a concurrent sentence of three years of probation for Aggravated Driving While Intoxicated to include installation of ignition interlock device, participation in Victim Impact Panel, license revocation and fines.

Thomas Hatch Jr. of Barton, N.Y. was sentenced to six months in Tioga County Jail and a three year conditional discharge for Criminal Possession of a Weapon in the Third Degree.
