Frack tank tampered with in Canton Twp.

State police at Towanda said someone tampered with a Talisman Energy frack tank sometime between 12:01 a.m. and 8:30 a.m. Jan. 10 on a well pad off Ayres Road in Canton Township, causing salt water to leak out into the containment area.

According to police, Pennsylvania DEP was notified and responded to the scene. Talisman Energy and Gas Field Specialties personnel assisted at the scene.

Anyone with information about the incident is asked to contact state police at Towanda at (570) 265-2186.
