Free tax preparation help in Northeast PA is available

The IRS is offering free tax preparation help this season. The Volunteer Income Tax Assistance (VITA) Program is for people who make $51,000 or less annually and need assistance with their taxes. IRS-certified volunteers will provide basic tax return preparation and information. The Tax Counseling for the Elderly (TCE) program offers free help for all, with priority given to individuals who are 60 years of age and older.
