Glenn LaRue Dunbar, son of Mr. and Mrs. Laverne Dunbar of Columbia Cross Roads RD, is a member of the May 24 graduating class at East Stroudsburg State Teachers College.

The noted composer Beatrice Bixler will be at the North Rome Wesleyan Church on Sunday. She has composed more than 300 songs, such as "I Am Not Worthy" and "I Sing a New Song."
