To raise money for their trip to Boston, the Sayre Senior Chorus is offering to "rent-a-kid" for $5 per hour for a pair of students to go to a person's home and do tasks and chores.
The Valley Chorus announced its soloists for the Christmas concert: Nancy Robinson, Dianna Lunger, Joan McCarthy, Don Parsons, Rich Golden, Neeta Alborn, Linda Kerek, Evelyn Nichols and Marilyn McCracken.

Mildred Dodge, head of the homemaking department at Wyalusing Valley High School, was named to the National Advisory Council of Future and New Homemakers of America.
