With 41 of 61 precincts reporting, it was apparent early this morning that GOP candidates William McNett and Robert Horton were going to be elected to two of the three Bradford County Commissioner spots up for election.
Unofficial vote tallies recorded for the eight candidates vying for the four seats on Sayre Borough Council showed Dr. Patrick Musto, Eugene F. Paluzzi, Michael "Denny" Thomas and Francis J. Altieri as the winners of these seats.
At the latest tally from votes yesterday, with 41 of 61 precincts reporting, GOP nominee Robert Fleury swept to victory in the race for Bradford County District Attorney.

Three Towanda High School pupils have been selected for the second All-State Chorus of Pennsylvania: Ida Dunfee, William Finn and David Rosencrans.
Daisy Comfort, Republican, defeated Mary Bloom, Democrat, in a spirited contest for tax collector in Troy two days ago.
Sunday sports were defeated in three rural townships in Bradford County on Nov. 2: Troy Township, Granville Township and Columbia Township. No other places voted on the proposition.
