Bradford County Commissioners gave unanimous approval to the 1988 amended budget yesterday, which sets county real estate tax millage at 25 mils and tax assessments at 25 percent of market value.
Twin Tier Management Corp., Sayre, the profit-making group of the Guthrie Medical Center, was given the nod to become the "clerk of the works" for the Bradford County Courthouse renovation project in a 2-1 vote approved yesterday by the commissioners.

Miss Helen Kirwan of Towanda was greatly surprised yesterday when she received a telephone call from an editor of the Evening Bulletin, Philadelphia. The editor told her while he was on a fishing trip recently with several others off the coast of Florida a tanker passed and dropped several bottles overboard. One of the bottles was recovered and it was found to be addressed to Miss Kirwan.
