The Athens Area Education Association held an open meeting with the Athens Area School Board and the public last night to discuss the feasibility of continuing the study for consolidation of Athens and SRU high schools.
Information concerning the possible opening of the Clymar Landfill in Middletown Township was brought to Wyalusing by environmentalists and officials last night at a public meeting at the Wyalusing Elementary School.
At the March meeting of the Canton Borough Council, Dr. James Grue reported that the office next to the post office is now available for use by Canton Development/CBIA and that funding for a full-time staff person for one year is now possible.
