Barbara Gannon, general manager of the Endless Mountains Transportation Authority, yesterday presented an award to husband William Gannon in appreciation of the Bradford County Commissioner's role played in the completion of the Valley Express public transportation system from Towanda to Elmira.

Seen about the borough: Jimmy Vanderpool displaying "the smallest pumpkin in the world" raised on the borough dump.

Miss Marian Kilmer, a graduate of Canton High School, class of 1931, has accepted a position as physical education instructor in Oil City.
