Hezekiah's Hands, an outreach that helps people rebuild or repair their homes, will be holding a work week on various homes and projects from Saturday, Sept. 30 to Saturday, Oct. 4.

This work week will focus on at least two homes that were damaged during the 2011 flooding in the area. Other projects will include installing a ramp and various home repairs for additional area residents in need.

Hezekiah's Hands works under the umbrella of the Towanda Presbyterian Church, but includes volunteers of all ages from various churches throughout Bradford County.

The organization currently needs some more helping hands and hopes this work week will help to focus on finishing up projects before the cold weather sets in.

To volunteer for this work week, contact Jim Crawford at (570) 744-2542 or Nancy Hughey at (570) 265-8706. Longer volunteer times on any of the days are ideal but any time you can offer is appreciated.
