Thanks everyone

EDITOR: I just wanted to say thanks again to all those who came out this past Friday for the parade, and to celebrate our Independence. It was an absolutely amazing experience for my daughter and I to be able to be a part of something so meaningful. It was truly an honor to serve as grand marshal and to receive a key to Towanda. Getting "home" after almost 6 years made me realize fully why I do what it is that I do. I was given an opportunity to slow down a little, and get away from the hustle of the Seattle/Tacoma area, it really made me miss home, and at the same time gave me a sense of self pride. I guess you could say I was afforded the opportunity to get back to my roots. So, thanks again to everyone for attending, and to Jay Cory, Mayor Garret Miller, Former Mayor Dick Snell and the First Friday Committee. It was a privilege to be recognized in such a manner, I can't wait to come back again.
