Man hurt in Waverly accident
The Waverly Police Department continues to investigate a Thursday night motor vehicle accident that injured a male pedestrian.
According to information from village police, a car struck the pedestrian at about 10:02 p.m. Thursday on Broad Street between Park and Pennsylvania avenues.
Greater Valley EMS transported the adult male pedestrian, who police did not identify, to Robert Packer Hospital to be treated for a head injury, police said.
The Waverly-Barton Fire Department and Sayre Fire Department also assisted at the scene.
