Please come and join the First Friday businesses as we welcome in November.

This Friday, Nov. 2, 2012 we will be honoring "Arts Around Town". Visit your local downtown businesses and see what local artists are displaying their work. Chemung Canal Trust will be serving punch and will have a cheese and cracker tray. Also, they will have children preparing their own art work to take home. Come visit their branch where Eskimo Kisses Photography will have their work displayed.

Featured at the Dry Goods Deli/Plus you will find Deborah Lutz with the PA Broom Closet. E.Boardman Photography will have his work displayed at the Total Tax Service building along with other artists. The Country Peddler will be offering 10 percent off of their products for the night. Ben Franklin Crafts will be featuring artists Bonnie Bell and Erwin Brown. They will also have a free kids make and take it from 5-9 pm or while supplies last. Ben Franklin Craft will be open until 9 pm.

Also, all regular fine arts supply will be 40 percent off from 5-9 pm. T-Town Bakery is offering when you purchase a cookie you get a free face painting. You won't want to miss out in trying their fall flavors as well as pumpkin rolls for the night. The Weigh Station Cafe is featuring Folk Spirit from 5:30-8 p.m. KZFM Radio will be set up down town and the KZFM KraZy Cat will be prowling about so make sure you stop and shake a paw with him. Displayed at the Keystone Theater you will find the work of our Towanda High School students with their creative artwork. There will be a story hour at the T- Town Bakery starting at 5:30 and running every ½ hour until 7pm. Age levels for this is going to be preschool to 7. The Rig Food Truck will be back in Midtown Parking with their menu creations.
