One man was injured in a roll-over accident around 10 p.m. Tuesday on Route 187 in Orwell Township, said Rome Fire Chief Jon Park.
He said the four-door car ended up upside down in about three feet of water in a creek. According to Park, firefighters had to extricate the driver, whose name wasn't available.
He said they cut two passenger doors and the center post between the doors to free the man. The man was the only person in the vehicle, Park said.
He said the man was taken by Windham Ambulance to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre.
The Windham Township Fire Department 19 assisted.
