MONTOURSVILLE - PennDOT advises motorists in Bradford County that the weight restrictions will soon be removed on six roads in Bradford County and two in Sullivan County because of gas-company upgrades to the roads.

The current 10-ton postings will be removed from the following:

Bradford County

Route 1003 (Steam Hollow Hill Road) in Tuscarora Township, from its intersection with Route 367 to the intersection with Spring Hill Road;

Route 1036 (Orwell Hill Road) in Orwell Township, from its intersection with Sugar Cabin Road to the intersection with Gulf Road;

Route 1050 (North Rome Road) in Litchfield Township, from its intersection with Sportsmans Road to the intersection with Hill Road;

Route 2002 (Quicks Bend Road) in Wilmot Township, from its intersection with Route 187 to the intersection with Detrick Road;

Route 2013 (Rienze Road) in Terry Township, from its intersection with Wyalusing/New Albany Road to the intersection with North Street;

Route 3005 (Canton Cross Road) in Canton Township, from its intersection with Southside Road to the intersection with Route 414;

Sullivan County

Route 4007 (Route 4007 State Highway) in Elkland Township, from its intersection with Route 4008 State Highway to the intersection with Millview Mountain Road;

Route 4008 (Route 4008 State Highway) in Elkland Township, from its intersection with Route 154 to the intersection with Ellis Road.

The postings will be lifted as soon as the road-posted signs are removed.
