Two people were injured in an ATV accident at 12:50 p.m. Sunday afternoon in a wooded area of Albany Township, said New Albany Volunteer Fire Department Assistant Chief Dale Hatch.

He said a man and a woman were injured and were flown by medical helicopter to Robert Packer Hospital. Their names were unavailable.

He said they were riding on a trail, and the ATV flipped over backwards, with the handlebars landing on the man's chest. The ATV rolled over several times, he noted.

One person complained of back pain and the other about possible broken ribs, he said.

Bradford County Fire Wire listed the location off Longways Lane.
