Pickett's office has new hours

TOWANDA - According to a press release from Rep. Tina Pickett's office Susquehanna and Sullivan County residents of the 110th District can take advantage of satellite office hours hosted by Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) during the month of July.

"These office hours are one way to bring state government closer to our communities," Pickett said. "I encourage area residents to stop by to pick up a state form or for more information about services available at the state level."

In Susquehanna County, staff will be available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month - July 13 and 27. The office is located on State Route 706 at Flynn's Consignment Shop in Lawton. The site was formerly Cavallaro's grocery store. Likewise, Sullivan County residents can visit Pickett's satellite office at the Sullivan County Courthouse in Laporte from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m. on Wednesday, July 20.

Services that her staff can assist with include:

·Information about legislation.

·Driver's license and vehicle registration applications and renewals.

·Assistance with PennDOT paperwork (lost cards, changes, corrections, special registration plates, vanity plates, and temporary placards for disabled persons).

·PACE and PACENET applications for seniors.

·Property Tax and Rent Rebate applications.

·Voter registration forms and absentee ballot applications.

·State tax forms.

·Student aid applications.

·Referrals to agencies to resolve state-related matters.
