Towanda woman cited for restrictions on alcoholic beverages
Tamara J. Blakeman of Towanda was recently cited for driving with a suspended or revoked license and restrictions on alcoholic beverages, police said.
The citations stem from Dec. 16 traffic stop during which Blakeman was found to be operating a vehicle while consuming an alcoholic beverage while her driver's license was suspended for a DUI, police said.
A blood test showed that at the time, the 44-year-old Blakeman did have a blood alcohol content above what would be allowed for an individual who is DUI suspended, police said.
The incident occurred at the intersection of U.S. Route 6 and Tomahawk Road in North Towanda Township, according to the state police at Towanda.
