TROY - Rape and other charges filed against Robert William Jordan, 43, with a last known address of 37193 Route 14, Gillett were bound over to the Bradford County Court of Common Pleas following a preliminary hearing Wednesday before Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox of Troy.

Jordan was charged with 10 counts of felony rape and 10 felony counts of a violation of the Controlled Substance, Drug, Device, and Cosmetic Act, for providing the alleged teen-aged victim with methamphetamine, marijuana and/or bath salts on at least 10 occasions, according to court papers. On the rape charge, Jordan is accused of using "forceable compulsion" to engage in sexual intercourse with the victim on at least 10 occasions.

In addition, Jordan was charged with five counts of felony involuntary deviate sexual intercourse and five felony counts of another charge of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse as well as one felony count of aggravated indecent assault and one count of another felony charge of aggravated indecent assault, according to the papers. Jordan was charged with 10 counts of another felony charge involving a minor, 10 misdemeanor counts of corruption of minors, 10 counts of misdemeanor indecent assault, and 10 felony counts of corruption of minors.

Magisterial District Judge Jonathan Wilcox said he found a prima facie case on these charges. At the beginning of the hearing, the victim took the stand and testified to the facts in case, as described in the affidavit. Police said the incidents took place from May 14 through Aug. 3 at various places in Wells and South Creek townships.

Wilcox said that Jordan remains jailed with his bail set at $200,000.
