Rep. Tina Pickett announces office schedule for June
TOWANDA - Residents in the Susquehanna County portion of the 110th District are encouraged to visit Rep. Tina Pickett's (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) satellite office hours in Lawton during the second Tuesday in June, her office announced on Thursday.
Staff will be available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 8. The office is located on state Route 706 at Flynn's Consignment Shop in Lawton. The site was formerly Cavallaro's grocery store.
"Due to the distance between the western Susquehanna County portion of the 110th and my full-time offices in Sayre and Towanda, these satellite office hours allow residents to stop by to pick up forms for state government programs or talk to a member of my staff about current legislative issues or a state service," said Pickett.
Likewise, Sullivan County residents can visit Pickett's satellite office at the Sullivan County Courthouse in Laporte on the first and third Wednesdays of the month - June 1 and 15 - from 1:30 p.m. to 3:30 p.m.
Services that her staff can assist with include:
- Information about legislation.
- Driver's license and vehicle registration applications and renewals.
- Assistance with PennDOT paperwork (lost cards, changes, corrections, special registration plates, vanity plates, and temporary placards for disabled persons).
- PACE and PACENET applications for seniors.
- Property Tax and Rent Rebate applications.
- Voter registration forms and absentee ballot applications.
- State tax forms.
- Student aid applications.
- Referrals to agencies to resolve state-related matters.
Pickett operates her main full-time offices at 321 Main St., Towanda, phone (570) 265-3124 and 106 West Packer Ave., Sayre, phone (570) 888-9011. More information is available 24 hours a day on Pickett's website at RepPickett.com or on her Facebook fan page at Facebook.com/RepPickett.
