A resurfacing and reconstruction project along 2.2-miles of Route 220 in southern Bradford County has been completed.

Work took place from the Sullivan County line, north to approximately one-half mile north of Laddsburg Hill Road in Albany Township.

This project will provide a smoother road for travelers along with improved safety due to better roadway cross slopes. Drainage improvements will help to prevent or minimize erosion, lengthen the life of the pavement, as well as adding to the safety of the traveling public.

PennDOT does not expect to have to return for any major maintenance for at least another decade or more.
