Scoville-Meno seeks local support for troop care packages

Families and businesses in the Valley are being asked by the Scoville-Meno Family of Dealerships to support troops today and tomorrow by bringing in items for care packages, according to a press release from Scoville-Meno.

People can bring in items between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m. today and Saturday to Scoville-Meno Dodge, 102 Spring St. in Sayre, the release stated. Additionally, on Saturday there will be a craft table in the showroom for children to make cards to be sent with the care packages, and people can also send well-wishes with pre-made cards, according to the release.

Also at the event, there will be cider and doughnuts and a 50-50 raffle, with proceeds going toward additional care package items and to defray shipping costs, the release stated.
