Sen. Yaw's TV Report: Showcasing the 9th annual Little League Grand Slam Parade
HARRISBURG - This month's 'Conversation with Senator Gene Yaw' highlights the 'kick-off' to the 2013 Little League World Series. The ninth annual parade welcomes the 16 teams from around the world competing for the title of LLB World Series Champions.
"The Little League Baseball World Series is the only regularly scheduled international sporting event in the state of Pennsylvania," Yaw said. "When you look at the history, coupled with the positive economic impact in our region, it's a big deal. I was extremely happy to participate in the opening celebration and had the opportunity to interview many people along the parade route in downtown Williamsport."
