A large storm system will impact northeastern Pennsylvania and central New York State late today and Wednesday, according to the National Weather Service.

The affected area includes Bradford County and Tioga County in New York state.

The storm could include accumulating snow, sleet, and freezing rain tonight, especially at higher elevations, according to the weather service.

"There is still plenty of uncertainty on the details of this system, but impacts are likely to vary greatly, depending on elevation."

The National Weather Service has also issued a winter storm watch for several Northern Tier counties, including Tioga and Sullivan, which will be in effect from this afternoon to Wednesday afternoon.

Snow accumulations of 5 to 8 inches could occur in Sullivan and Tioga counties, with minor ice accumulations also possible, according to the NWS.
