TOWANDA - Rep. Tina Pickett (R-Bradford/Sullivan/Susquehanna) will have a staff person available at her Susquehanna and Sullivan County satellite offices on Wednesdays during February.

"From assistance with home-heating grant applications to supplying state tax forms, my office staff can provide a wide array of help for residents," Pickett said. "I encourage anyone who may be in need of help with their winter heating bills to contact our office for information about the LIHEAP program, and we anticipate the 2012 Property Tax/Rent Rebate forms to be available at our offices sometime in February. Please stop in if you are in need of help."

In Susquehanna County, Pickett's staff will be available from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. on the second and fourth Wednesdays of the month - Feb. 13 and Feb. 27. The office is located on state Route 706 at Flynn's Consignment Shop in Lawton. This office can be reached by calling (570) 934-2557.

Sullivan County residents who are in need of state assistance can visit Pickett's satellite office at the Sullivan County Courthouse in Laporte on the first and third Wednesdays of the month - Feb. 6 and Feb. 20 - from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. The phone number there is (570) 946-7673.

Pickett's staff can also help with a number of other items, including:

- Information about legislation and new laws.

- Driver's license and vehicle registration applications and renewals.

- Assistance with PennDOT paperwork (lost cards, changes, corrections, special registration plates, vanity plates, and temporary placards for disabled persons).

- PACE and PACENET applications for seniors.

- State tax forms.

- Student aid applications.

- Referrals to agencies to resolve state-related matters.
