After the events of the last year and a half, it is evident how important it is to be prepared for the unexpected. This is an opportunity to prepare your business for the unthinkable.

Disasters can happen anywhere, often with little or no warning. Is your business prepared? What can you do to protect your business, employees and customers? Where should you begin?

The Tioga County Chamber of Commerce and the American Red Cross are working together to present an informative businesses meeting, "Every Business Should Have a Plan" on Wednesday, Feb. 27. The program will run from 7:30 to 9 a.m. and will be held at the Owego Treadway Inn and Conference Center. The American Red Cross will provide you with information and helpful tools that will help you prepare your plan.

The cost of the event is $15 and includes a continental breakfast. Reservations and payment are required by Feb. 25. Call the Tioga County Chamber of Commerce at (607) 687-2020 or email to for more information.
