Two Dushore residents have been charged in a shooting incident that occurred last September in Overton Township, Bradford County, state police announced on Friday.

The incident occurred as Thomas and Jessica White, both of Dushore, were in a vehicle that was pursuing a vehicle operated by a 27-year-old Rome man, police said.

Jessica White, who was at the wheel, rammed the Rome man's vehicle, police said. At the same time, Thomas White fired three 12-gauge shotgun shells at the victim's vehicle, police said.

The shotgun pellets struck the victim's rear tailgate and bumper, and flattened a rear tire of his vehicle, state police at Laporte said.

Thomas White, 28, and Jessica White, 28, were both charged with aggravated assault, discharge of a firearm into an occupied structure, propulsion of missiles into an occupied vehicle or onto a roadway, simple assault, and recklessly endangering another person, police said.

The incident occurred in the early morning hours of Sept. 23 on Morris Road, police said.
