The Greater Valley Chamber of Commerce announced Tuesday the vehicle to be sold in Thursday's 2012 Fall Auction.

Williams Auto Group has donated a 2001 Dodge Dakota, regular cab, four wheel drive, sport model, automatic, 75,000 miles, fire-engine red with a value of $7,000. This is the fourth year that Williams has donated a vehicle to the auction. In addition to the car, 95 items will be auctioned off.

This year's auction will benefit three museums in the Valley area - Sayre Historical Society, Susquehanna River Archaeological Center and Tioga Point Museum.

The 2012 Fall Auction will be held Thursday at the LOOM on Waverly Street in Waverly, beginning at 5:30 p.m. with "Tastes of the Valley." A cash bar will be available. The auction will begin at 7 p.m.

The $10 admission includes "Tastes of the Valley" courtesy of Blue Heron Acres, Celebrations Catering, Howie's Pizza and Subs, Railhouse Restaurant and Ted Clark's Busy Market. Tickets are available from the board of directors or by calling the chamber office at (607) 249-6192.
