Vehicle crash sends two to hospital
State police at Towanda continued Thursday evening to investigate a two-car motor vehicle accident that morning on Hornbrook Road in Sheshequin Township.
Emergency responders were dispatched at about 10:45 a.m. Thursday to the accident, which occurred just south of the intersection with Cross Road in front of the Glenn Shores cattle farm. The front end of a tan Jeep Liberty came into contact with the rear left corner of an aluminum Eby livestock trailer towed by a red Ford F-350 pickup truck.
Emergency responders reported that one person was unconscious when they arrived at the scene, with four patients total. At least two were transported to a local hospital for treatment.
Hornbrook Road was completely blocked at the crash site for over an hour.
In addition to state police, the Ulster-Sheshequin Fire Association, Memorial Hospital EMS and the Ulster division of Tri-Township Ambulance responded to the scene. State police had no further information to release Thursday evening.
