Security fencing installed
On Tuesday, workers with Rutkoski Fencing were installing security fencing at W.R Croman Primary School in Troy.
According to Troy Area School District Superintendent W. Charles Young, the fencing is being put in for security measures and is being installed all around the playground area at the school. He noted that it was the result of a state audit regarding safety procedures. Young said the state auditor general told the district to put up the fencing, and this is an issue that is being dealt with statewide. He said the fencing was bid out and the contract was awarded in July. It will be in place for the start of the school year.
