Having lived in Canton for 35 years I fully agree that 4 way stop signs have been needed at the North Center and Union Streets intersection for a long time. You CANNOT SEE up or down Center Street from Union Street if ANY cars are parked within 50 feet of the intersection on either side of Center Street. The traffic coming up Center is usually moving quickly. There have been several accidents there. The only alternative would be no parking within that 50 foot range on both sides of Center Street North AND South of Union.
