Wyalusing woman charged with stabbing Victim stabbed four times
A Wyalusing woman is in Bradford County jail after Pennsylvania State Police say she stabbed a man Friday night.
According to police, Denise Lynn Strach, 51, became involved in a verbal argument with a 48-year-old Wyalusing man at 10:50 p.m. at a residence on Marsh Street in Wyalusing when the altercation became physical.
During the altercation, Strach allegedly stabbed the man three times in the back and once in the right arm with a knife.
Police arrested Strach at the scene and charged her with Criminal Attempt to Commit Criminal Homicide, Simple Assault, Recklessly Endangering Another Person, Tampering with or Fabricating Physical Evidence and two counts of Aggravated Assault.
Strach was arraigned before District Justice Michael Shaw and remanded to the Bradford County Correctional Facility in lieu of $500,000 bail.
The man was transported to Robert Packer Hospital in Sayre for treatment of his injuries.
