Good job

EDITOR: I want to thank The Daily Review editor and staff for the front page of your Tuesday, Dec. 25, newspaper. Very beautiful picture of Joseph, Mary and Jesus with the wonderful Bible verse and then the big Merry Christmas. Not just happy holidays like many use. So many want to use the term "Happy Holidays" leaving Jesus out of Christmas. They forget or don't want to say Christmas, His birthday. Personally I wish they would give Santa another day. Not Jesus day. I loved the picture and will save it showing others.

I am 85 years old and that front page of The Daily Review brought the greatest joy to my heart. Not only the picture but the verse Luke 2:11 and your greeting to us "Merry Christmas."

So thank you again. I pray you all have a wonderful 2013. I know we will if we are loving and serving this wonderful Lord and Savior of the world, Jesus.

And I greatly enjoyed the student's answers to the true meaning of Christmas in the next day. Thank you for publishing those also. You paper made my day much happier because of it.

An invitation

EDITOR: I am writing this letter to invite people to come and visit the South Warren Community Church located on LeRaysville Road No. 1049, between LeRaysville and Warren Center.

We have worship service every Sunday at 11 a.m. and if anybody would like to hear a good message for these times they should take the time to come. They are to experience a stupendous surprise.

All messages are down to earth and very easy to understand. We are led by a simple down-to-earth gentleman, who, like the old time country preachers, cares about people just because they are people.

He even makes house calls. He is not afraid to knock on doors to reach out and tell the Good News of Salvation.

His name is Larry Pelton and he is one awesome person, preacher and teacher. If there is anybody out there who does not know Larry Pelton, you just don't know what you are missing.
