Thank you
EDITOR: I wish to extend my heartfelt gratitude to the many people of Bradford County who came to my aid after my automobile accident, and cared for me over the following days. Immediately after the crash, neighbors rushed to the scene to help me. Their care and obvious concern were a great comfort to me. I am so thankful to the first responders as well as the emergency personnel who quickly arrived on the scene, assessed the situation of both myself and the other driver, and began my initial treatment. I am also thankful to the hospital personnel of Towanda Memorial Hospital for the attentive care given to me. Everyone - from the emergency room nurses and doctor to the ICU nurses and doctor to the administrative staff - displayed the utmost concern, professionalism, and compassion. Knowing that I was receiving such excellent care was a great comfort to me and to my family.
I would also like to extend my best wishes to the young woman who was involved in the crash.
I am now recovering nicely at home with my family. Thanks to everyone in Bradford County for their prayers, their phone calls, their cards, and their visits to the hospital. I will be back to visit very soon.

EDITOR: You love your home, the neighbors are great and it's nice neighborhood.
It doesn't matter if you bought your home a few years ago, or you live in the home you grew up in. It's nice and comfortable. Maybe the steps need painting and hope to put on new siding next year, but it's yours. You are happy where you chose to live.
You did your homework. The house wasn't the only reason that you purchased it. I'm sure you checked on the school system. You could see your future neighbors take pride in the care of their homes. Yes, you checked that the area was zoned residential. You feel safe with your decision, right? WRONG!
The proposal regarding West Lockhart Street is proof you can't plan on residential zoning to mean residential zoning.
The location of CVS proposal will change, not only, the lives of the seven families who have been approached to see their homes to Zaremba Group LLC. It will change the lives of all the neighbors on the connecting streets.
Things about this, what if Stroemann's Bakeries wants to expand on Elmer Avenue and Wilbur Avenue? What about the residents on Lehigh Avenue and Hayden Street wherever zoning is being reconsidered?
The CVS proposal involves the entire community. It is only the first stage of rezoning.
Please voice your concerns via this newspaper.
Maybe you can help. I hope so, because in a few years there may be a 24-hour gas station next to you and you thought your home was a zoned residential neighborhood!
Other things are important too, but here seems to be more concern of how to house the garbage trucks then for the residents living in the residential neighborhoods of our little town.
