SAYRE - The Athens and Sayre swim teams earned a split on Thursday with the Athens girls winning 94-86 and the Sayre boys prevailing 132-23.

For the girls, in the 200 medley relay Sayre's team of Courtney Bruer, Grace McClelland, Katherine Porter and Rachel Hurley won in 2:15.34 and in the 200 free Athens' Giuliana DeSisti won in 2:25.18, followed by Sayre's Emily Schamel in 2:29.66 and Chloe Farrell of AThens in 2:43.44.

In the 200 IM, Jess Kopatz of Athens won in 2:37.66, followed by McClelland in 2:44.47 and Abby Beck of Athens in 3:03.98.

Sayre's Rachel Hurley won the 50 free in 27.39, followed by Athens' Kirstan Vanderpool in 29.06 and Dawn Fenninger of Sayre in 29.57.

In the diving Sarah Slocum of Athens won at 158.20, followed by Sayre's Courtney Bruer at 130.40 and Athens' Allie Vine at 125.85.

Porter won the 100 fly in 1:02.46, followed by DeSisti in 1:16.12 and Elizabeth Porter of Sayre in 1:45.98.

In the 100 free, Hurley won in 59.36, followed by Vanderpool in 1:04.12 and Fenninger in 1:08.26.

In the 500 free, McClelland won in 6:09.84, followed by Schamel in 6:55.21 and Abby Kopatz of AThens in 6:55.85.

Athens team of DeSisti, Jess Kopatz, Lauren Pruyne and Vanderpool won the 200 free relay in 1:57.06 and in the 100 back Katherine Porter won in 1:08.12, followed by Beck in 1:17.90 and Sayre's Kaitlyn Henry in 1:26.32.

Jess Kopatz won the 100 breast in 1:22.11, followed by Sayre's Kaitlyn Tappan in 1:26.92 and Abby Kopatz in 1:29.16.

Sayre's team of Fenninger, McClelland, Porter and Hurley won the 400 free relay in 4:14.32.

For the boys, in the 200 medley relay Sayre's team of Lorenzo Servedio, Altan Frantz, Alex Porter and Chris Marshall won in 1:59.94 and in the 200 free Marshall won in 2:06.03, followed by Athens' Tyler Solomon in 2:49.83 and Charles Zimmer of Sayre in 2:38.28.

In the 200 IM, Frantz won in 2:12, followed by Brett Heil of Sayre in 2:42.01 and Sayre's Nathan Chau in 3:13.69.

In the 50 free, Athens' Frank Chen won in 23.98, followed by Sayre's Marshall (25.13) and Josh Wolcott (27.17).

In the 100 fly, Frantz won in 58.44, followed by Servedio in 1:01.43 and Heil in 1:11.29.

In the 100 free, Alex Porter won in 1:10.40, followed by Sayre's Juan Velazquez in 1:10.40 and Nick Friderichsen of Sayre in 1:10.64.

Chen won the 500 in 5:18.90, followed by Porter in 5:43.66 and John Misner of Sayre in 8:54.90.

Sayre's team of Porter, Servedio, Marshall and Frantz won the 200 free relay in 1:43.20.

Servedio won the 100 back in 1:05.20, followed by Solomon in 1:10.51 and Wolcott in 1:11.68.

In the 100 breast, Velazquez won for Sayre in 1:18.75, followed by Misner in 1:31.17 and Sayre's Andrew Platt in 1:32.25.

In the 400 free, relay Heil, Friedrichsen, Velazquez and Wolcott won in 4:38.11.
