The Athens boys and girls swim teams notched wins over Elk Lake on Friday. The girls won 11-75 and the boys won 94-67.

Troy Stivason had a district qualifying time for Athens in the 50 free and Bryan Solomon and Frank Chen join Tyler Solomon in qualifying in every event this season with individual victories and season best swims.

The tightest race of the day was the 200 free relay where Chen hit the pool a body length behind and finished in a tie with Elk Lake, matching the Wildcats best time of the year.

The 200 medley relay of Tyler and Bryan Solomon, Shane Martin and Troy Stivason won in 1:55.79 and Chen won the 200 free in 1:56.01 with Kurt Walck taking third.

Bryan Solomon won the 200 IM in 2:23.98 and AUstin Dukes was second and Martin won the 50 free, while Zach Firestine won the diving.

Tyler Solomon won the 100 fly in 1:03 with Jake Townsand finishing third and Dukes was second in the 500 free.

The 200 free relay was Chen, Tyler Solomon, Martin and Walck and Tyler Solomon won the 100 back (1:12.2) and 100 breast (1:1.38), with Bryan Solomon taking second in the 100 breast.

For the girls Giuliana DeSisti won the 200 free in 2:20.01 with Megan Dukes taking second and Elizabeth Ondrey was second in the 200 IM.

Lauren Pruyne won the 50 free in 29.43 and Sarah Slocum won the diving at 168.95.

DeSisti won the 100 fly in 1:14.86 and Courtney Webster was third and Courtney Dukes won the 100 free in 1:01.99 with Megan Dukes taking third.

Pruyne won the 500 free in 6:35.39 and DeSisti, Courtney and Megan Dukes and Pruyne won the 200 free relay in 1:59.67, while Abby Kopatz took second in the 100 back. Courtney Dukes led a 1-2-3 finish in the 100 breast winning in 1:21.91, followed by Ondrey and Megan Wanck and Desisti, Pruyne and Courtney and Megan Dukes won the 400 free relay in 4:23.67.
