The Wildcats defeated EFA 3-0 in volleyball action Wednesday.

Athens won the games 26-24, 25-23 and 25-22.

Leanne Molnar had 13 points, seven aces, two digs, four assists and three kills for the Wildcats, Erica Rogers had eight points, two aces, six digs and eight kills, Becca Saggiomo had five points, one dig and four assists and Haleigh Waite had five points, two aces, six digs and five kills.

Also for Athens, Jessica Beck had three points, three digs and two kills; Lacey Hoose had three points, one dig and one kill; Jennifer Wells had two digs and Louise Godiksen had one kill.

Chloey Erway and Molly Hill had six points each for EFA while Molly McHenry had three.

EFA won the junior varsity match in two games with scores of 25-13 and 25-17.

Brooke Maloney had five points for Athens while Tahney Hill had four.

Athens will travel to Liberty at 11 a.m. on Saturday.
