WAVERLY, N.Y. - Sabrina Bowman hit three home runs as the Waverly Wolverines cruised to a 23-0 win over Odessa-Montour in five innings on Thursday.

Bowman was 5-for-5 with three home runs, a double, four runs scored and five RBI in the win.

Sam Mennig also had a home run for Waverly in the game, getting three hits, three runs scored, an RBI and a double.

Megan Wilbur had two hits, with an RBI and two runs scored and Shailei Kraft had a hit, three RBI, a double and three runs scored.

Rebecca Morgan scored three runs and Morgan Salsman had two hits, two runs scored, a double, a triple and six RBI, while Stephanie Bellis scored two runs.

Carmella Ruth had two hits, Kiana Manuel had two hits, an RBI and two runs scored and McKehanna Mattison had two hits, while Reylyn Schwartzhoff had a hit.

Mennig pitched, allowing one hit in the five innings, striking out 12.

Sam Wood struck out seven, walked none and allowed one hit and one unearned run in the game.

Wood had two hits, two runs, a double and two RBI and Dani Barto had two hits, two RBI and two runs scored.

Britt Vergason had a hit, an RBI and two runs scored, Bry Godfrey scored three runs and Alexis VanDruff was 3-for-3 with two runs scored and two RBI.

Sam Pond had two hits and scored three runs and Deanna Hutchison had a hit and scored a run.

Mackenzie Malone had an RBI and scored two runs and Athens' Ali Raupers had two hits, two runs scored and two RBI.

Monica Cox had an RBI, Brooke Harvey had a hit and Claire Spaulding had two hits and scored a run, while Allie Steadman also had two hits and scored a run.

Torie Shutlz, Brianna Baumunk and Addie Jordan had hits in the loss for the Griffins.

Shultz scored the Griffins run off a hit by Baumunk.
