Mansfield University's Brenae Edwards garnered U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) All-Atlantic Region accolades in both the 5,000m and 10,000m runs while teammate Jess Scordino earned All-Region in the 10,000m.

The USTFCCCA honors the top five from each region in individual events and each member of a relay ranked in the region's top three earn All-region distinction for the season.

Edwards turned in her fastest 10,000m time of the season at Coastal Carolina's Shamrock Invitational in May at 34.51.66. Her mark is currently the second fastest time in NCAA Division II. Edwards notched her fastest 5,00m time at the prestigious Penn Relay in April with a time of 16.45.34 which ranks as the eighth best time in the nation this year.

Edwards is set to make the second trip of her career to the NCAA Division II Outdoor Track and Field Championships in Pueblo, Colo. next week. She qualified for the championships in both the 5K and 10K events.

Scordino earns All-Region in the 10,000m where she posted a personal best 35:04.48 at the Penn Relays. The junior's time is the seventh fastest in the nation.

Scordino will make her first trip to the NCAA Outdoor Championships where she also qualified in both the 5K and 10K. Scordino is coming off an All-American performance at the 2012 NCAA Division II Cross Country Championship in November.

The 2013 NCAA Division II Outdoor Championships open on Thursday, May 23 and conclude on the 25th.
