Cowanesque Valley swept Williamson 7-0 in boys' tennis action Thursday.

In first singles, Chandler Mastin defeated Williamson's Mike Lawless 6-2, 6-1 while at second singles Indian Brian Fulmer topped Scott Tanner 6-1, 6-0.

In third singles, CV's Dean Lee defeated Williamson's Henry Meinstreifel 6-1, 6-1, in fourth singles Patrick Sewell beat Williamson's Dakota Cox 6-1, 6-0 and in fifth singles, CV's Cameron Lewis defeated Raymond Neal 6-1, 6-1.

In first doubles, Fulmer and Lee rallied to beat Lawless and Tanner 5-7, 6-1, 10-7 while in second singles Sewell and Trevor Smith defeated Meinstreifel and Cox 6-0, 6-4.

In exhibition action, CV's Adam Brooks beat Williamson's Zack Giavannini 6-3, 6-4.

Cowanesque Valley (2-1 NTL, 2-2 overall) will travel to Liberty today while Williamson (0-2, 0-2) is off.

Galeton 7, Liberty 0

The Tigers remained undefeated in boy's tennis action Thursday.

In first singles Galeton's Jordan Dugan defeated Dakota Alexyn 6-0, 6-2 while in second singles Dan Hatch topped Liberty's Andrew Nadas 6-2, 6-3.

In third singles Tiger Dakota Shadle beat Peter Kutbay 6-3, 6-2, in fourth singles Tyler Dugan topped Liberty's Nathaniel Wilston 6-0, 6-0 and in fifth singles Galeton's Jacob Batterson beat Matt DeLosa 6-2, 6-2.

In doubles action a team of Dugan and Dugan beat Alexyn and Nadas 6-1, 6-1 in first doubles while in second doubles Galeton's John Parcell and Devin Hager beat Liberty's Nate DeWalt and Jake Weimer 6-0, 6-0.

Liberty (3-0) will host CV today while Galeton (3-0) travels to Wellsboro.
