District 15 Big League softball picks up win

The District 15 Big League softball team stayed alive at regionals with an 18-0 victory over Connecticut on Friday.

District 15 scored the 18 runs on four hits, four hit batters, four Connecticut errors and 16 walks.

Chelsea Epler, Tarah Jones, Courtney Mattocks and Sarah Hoffman had hits on the day for the Bradford County team.

Maggie Bride and Epler had RBI.

Mattocks scored four runs in the game and Kate Pratt, Katlyn Fuller, Bride, Epler and Tarah Jones scored two runs each. Ekko Stimson, Ashley Fitzwater, Hoffman and Randi Kutz also scored runs.

Pratt struck out five, walked one and allowed two hits, while Erika Crawford struck out two in one perfect inning of work.
