The Galeton Lady Tigers topped the Cameron County Raiders 14-1 in a North Tier Softball clash on Monday night.

Galeton (1-0) tallied five runs in the third, four in the fourth and five in the fifth innings.

Sophomore Latascia Shadle led the Lady Tigers going 3-for-3 with two doubles. Shadle also scored two runs and had three runs batted in. Senior Cheyanne James (1-for-4), junior Mataya McPherson (1-for-4, 1-RBI), sophomore Karissa Burrous (1-for-4, 1-RBI) and junior Shaleigh Proctor (1-for-3, 3 runs and 1 RBI) also had hits for the Lady Tigers. Freshman Katelynn McInroy scored three runs for Galeton.

McPherson (1-0) earned the win surrendering one earned run on four hits in five innings. She also recorded five strikeouts and walked three.
