Griffins fall to Mifflinburg

Sullivan County took three matches in their 49-9 loss to Mifflinburg in District IV Duals action Wednesday.

At 113 Griffin Shawn Nitcznski scored a 1-0 decision over Mifflinburg's Noah Kuba, At 138 Logan Wiles edged Mifflinburg's Adam Miller 2-0 and at 152 Sullivan's Dane Woodruff scored a 3-2 decision over Mifflinburg's Eric Dock.

Mifflinburg had four falls on the day, Cole Walter (120), Brendon Hicks (126), John Punako (195) and Nazar Mireonenko (285).

Ty Walter scored a technical fall at 160 while Ryan Gessner (170) and Aaron Shrawder (182) had major decisions.

At 132 Mifflinburg's Clark Wagner edged out Sullivan's Brian Smith 2-0 while at 145 Alan Miller downed Sullivan's Tim Kramer 7-2.

The Wildcats also got a forfeit at 220 from Gaven Girton.
