Junior Adam Harris, a Towanda graduate, of the Orange football team and field hockey student-athlete Lindsey Conrad, are the Syracuse University Scholar-Athletes of the Week for the week of Nov. 15, 2010.

Harris has helped SU register a 7-3 record, including a 13-10 win at Rutgers on Saturday, Nov. 13, to make the Orange bowl-eligible for the first time since 2004. He has played in all 10 games this season as a fullback and on special teams, including nine starts. Harris has rushed for 21 yards on seven carries and had three receptions for 32 yards. He was one of three student-athletes to earn a spot on the ESPN District I All-Academic Team this season. After transferring from Cornell last season, he was named to the Athletic Director's Honor Roll in both semesters.

Harris, a marketing management major, and the Orange will welcome Connecticut to the Carrier Dome on Saturday, Nov. 20 for a BIG EAST matchup at 7 p.m.

Conrad, a graduate student, led Syracuse to a 16-5 overall record and its third consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance last weekend. SU advanced to the second round before coming up short to Ohio State, 3-2, in overtime. Conrad scored the lone goal in the BIG EAST Championship game to lead SU to its third consecutive BIG EAST Championship, either regular-season or tournament. She is SU's career leader in goals with 47 and ranks third on SU's all-time points list with 112.

Conrad earned bachelor's degrees in history and social studies education and is pursuing a master's degree in literacy education.
