The District IV, Class AA champions didn't fare too well in the PIAA playoffs Saturday.

Danville wasn't able to stop Wyomissing's running game and fell 52-0.

Wyomissing racked up 390 rushing yards on 39 carries while holding the Ironmen to 120 yards of total offense.

Leading the way was Mason Smith's 144 yards on seven carries for Wyomissing while Alex Anzalone added 81 yards and three touchdowns on 11 carries.

Anzalone scored the first three Wyomissing touchdowns with runs of 10 yards, two and one to give the District III champions a 21-0 lead after the opening quarter.

In the second Johan Bowman hit a 22 yard field goal to add to the Wyomissing lead, followed by Smith picking off a Weston Baylor pass and returning 21 yards to paydirt giving them a 31-0 lead at the half.

In the third quarter Wyomissing got touchdown runs from Justin Causa (28 yards) and Scott McAvoy (12 yards) while Tom Paolini had a 43 yard touchdown run in the fourth quarter to make it a 52-0 final.

Sam Dressler had 48 yards on 11 carries to lead Danville while Baylor was 8-for-16 through the air for 47 yards with two picks. Breg Berg was the top Ironman receiver with three catches for 21 yards.
