Mansfield University head women's swimming coach Kaymee Kelly turned in a pair of top 10 finishes at the recent 2013 U.S. Masters Swimming (USMS) Spring National Championship at the IUPUI Natatorium in Indianapolis.

Founded in 1970, USMS is a national nonprofit organization that provides membership benefits to nearly 60,000 Masters swimmers across the country. The USMS provides organized workouts, competitions, clinics and workshops for adults aged 18 and over.

Kelly turned in a fifth place time in the 50 yard backstroke with a mark of 30.98. The result bested her seed time of 31.03.

In the 100 yard backstroke, Kelly finished 10th overall with her time of 1:07.30. Her finals time was a slight improvement of the seed time of 1:07.57.

Kelly was a four-year letterwinner at Clarion University helping the Golden Eagles to PSAC Championships in 2004 and 2006. She enters her second season at the helm of the Mountaineer swim program.
