Local high school schedule rained out
Mother Nature wiped away the slate of high school games on the schedule for Wednesday.
Games in Waverly and Sayre were each started, but suspended due to weather.
Waverly will complete their games with Candor later this month before their games at Candor and no completion date has been set for Wyalusing at Sayre.
Towanda at Athens and Northeast Bradford at Troy and Williamson at Canton baseball and softball were each postponed and are scheduled to be played at 4:30 p.m. today, weather permitting.
Sullivan County at Millville baseball was also postponed and Wellsboro at Cowanesque Valley baseball and softball were all postponed and will be made up on April 18.

Rachael Strange had three hits and scored three runs, Brittany Bickhart scored two runs, Brittany Crumb had three hits and Katie Carrington had two hits.
Maddie York struck out 12 Sullivan County hitters and limited the Griffins to two hits.
Alyssa Blasi struck out one for the Griffins and caught a runner stealing in the game.
Shelby Zeller had three assists in the game for the Griffins and Addie Jordan turned a double play and had two put outs.
"Overall defensively the Griffins looked good with a quick first inning and only facing four batters," Sullivan County coach Brian Heisman said. "In the second inning Alyssa Blasi assisted Mackenzie Doyle along with fly outs caught by Addie Jordan and ending the inning with a foul fly to Torie Shultz.
In the fourth inning the Griffins had the bases loaded riddled with two errors. They successfuly got out of the inning with a fly to Alyssa Blasi and Addie Jordan making a save on a hard hit ball tagging second and assisting for the double play to Mackenzie Doyle at first. Sullivan held Liberty with only four runs in the bottom of the sixth. The Griffins' Shelby Zeller caught a line drive to third with runners on second and first. The girls struggled to get two more outs in the seventh after facing eight more hitters."
Sullivan is at Neumann today.
