The 26th Annual February Freeze 5K Race was held Saturday at Roslund Elementary School in Tunkhannock.

The overall male winner was Sam Williams with a time of 16:07 and the female winner was Regan Rome with a time of 17:39, a new course woman's record.

In last fall's state PIAA cross country AA meet, Williams, a senior at Northeast Bradford took third, and Rome, a junior at Dallas, also took third in the state girls meet.

Some 85 runners started Saturday's race at noon with temperatures in the teens and a fast course.
